Quartiere Coppede

Architect Gino Coppede designed many buildings in this neighborhood around 1915.  Just one of those interesting little gems that seem to be everywhere in this town.  This was part of our walk that included Villa Torlonia, Mussolini’s residence for twenty years.  I am told it looks a lot like Gaudi’s work in Barcelona.  That’s on my bucket list.
