A circle of stones

Rick Steves walked to Scorhill stone circle in his youth.  At that point, he decided to become a travel writer.  The least I could do was try to find the place.  Our Nissan SatNav guide, whom we have named Lucy, got us to the neighborhood.  From there, we changed shoes, grabbed our walking sticks and headed up a hill.  10 minutes into it, we were lost.  We decided to push on, hoping to run into a fellow hiker or get better cell phone service (will discuss that later).
5 minutes later, we met a man and asked him directions.  "Follow the fence line, along the trees... you will come to the Teign River... you will cross two clapper bridges, and the circle will be in your sight... it's about 1 mile". Here's the first clapper bridge.

Here's Scorhill Stone Circle.  The only original stone circle in England.  Most circles, like Stonehenge, are reproductions.  This one has never been touched.  But no out of body experience here.  Just a circle of stones.  Probably used 5000 years ago as a place to hold a barn dance.
