On to Dartmoor

We zipped into Dartmoor, per Rick Steve's rec.  A very different type of place.  Take Eastern Oregon, out around Pendleton, and add Tillamook.  That's what it feels like.  Narrow lanes, that stretch on forever, green lush valleys (with lots of sheep and cows) and high desert plateaus.  You tend to slow down and watch the world go by. Travelling any faster than 25mph feels like you are speeding.  Most of the side roads are only one lane, with pullouts.  So, driving is a team effort... you and the other drivers.  Everyone is VERY courteous.  Oncoming drivers always wave when you pass on a small lane.  It feels like 1957 here.

This is a "clapper" bridge.  They've been around since day 2.  They are everywhere in the moors.

This is a regular bridge, with carries cars and people and stuff.

This is nowhere.  Probably where the no-where man is from.
