Christian time...

After the air museum, we drove north to Wells.  Had a French lunch (ummmmm good) and went to the cathedral for a little HeyZeus time.  It was impressive, if you are into that sort of thing. I'm pretty much a "ya seen one, you've seen em all" kind of guy.  But they are usually quiet and cool places to reflect.  We stayed for EveningSong, which was lovely.  Between songs, they read from the Old Testament and the New Testament.  Damn, if that wasn't the same story I heard 60 years ago.  The son of gawd, died for our sins, crucified, rose from the dead.  Yup.  No wonder they can't get peeps into the church - they need a new story.
Except for the boys in the choir, it was just a bunch of old people... myself included.  On this side of the pond, Christianity appears to slipping away.  Guess we need a new messiah.  Maybe it'll be the orange clown.
