Things...

Gassed up today.  Or should i say, dieseled up.  Making EXTRA sure to put DIESEL in the DIESEL Nissan.  Price of diesel, per gallon, you ask???  7.25 US dollars per gallon.  Yes, Americanos, driving ain't cheap here.
There are a lot of diesels on the road here.  They've really been pushing them.  No, they are changing their tune.  Suddenly, they have realized that diesels pollute the shit out of their cities.  So, within 20 years, they plan to be rid of all of them.  Maybe it will be time for electrics.

People... it's very white here.  A few Asian travelers, a few Indians, but for the most part, white.  London is a different story.  This area is more like Pendleton.  Feels like 1957.

People are generally very polite.  Waiting for a bus, people patiently "cue up" in line to board.  Patience is the key word.. there seems to be a lot more of it here than in the US of A.

Prices... dinners last two nights were 90 pounds ($115 US).  Breakfast is included in the hotel and we generally skip lunch, because no one is hungry.  BTW, tipping (10%) is optional.  It's appreciated, but not required.  The restaurant we enjoyed over the last two nights was "The Chagford Inn".  They do an interesting thing with their beef courses.  The buy an entire steer, even telling you the local farm of origin.  Then they use the ENTIRE animal.  On the menu, you will find heart, liver, filet mignon, beef brisket (that's what i had - ummm good).  Hell, they probably will sell the tail at some point.

Weather... very little rain.  Sunny today and tomorrow.  Temp in the low 60's.  Ideal for walking and being outdoors, which is where i am right now.  Better weather than Orygun ?

The "N" on my CheapAss Apple keyboard is getting flaky.  I have to hammer it.  Piece of crap.

Sister Caren is reviewing this blog and finding a ton of typos.  Sorry... stream of consciousness writing.
